The British-American Business Council and Squire Sanders cordially invite you to the 24th Annual BABC Economic Forecast Luncheon.
Join our experts for an interactive discussion and forecast on how local and global economic patterns will affect your business in 2014. We'll be looking at economic projections from around the world and their impact on the US economy as a whole - from the threats to financial stability and global economic growth posed by China to the varied financial performance within Europe as economic restructuring takes hold and financial markets adjust to a less rapid flow of international funds. We will also dig deep into the probable outcomes of improving conditions here in the US including predictions on Federal Reserve policy changes and the impact thereof, the residential and commercial real estate markets, stock, equity and bond market forecasts, and the environment surrounding IPOs, mergers, acquisitions and other restructuring vehicles. Bringing it all back to our back-yard, we will look at how the US/International macro trends, as well as trends happening right here in California are impacting industry in the United States with a particular focus on the Bay Area, and what the risks and challenges are to continued growth. We will also put our best foot forward in identifying the hottest markets and business opportunities that 2014 will bring.
