Australia Day Gala (Hosted by SFAussies)

Presenting the Innovation Awards and Spirit of Australia Awards and hosted by the Australian American Chamber of Commerce Australia Day is the official National Day of Australia and is recognized on January 26th. We will be celebrating the Saturday prior with a black-tie gala. The Australia Day Gala has been one of San Francisco’s premier events for the past three decades. The Australia Day Gala celebrates the next ‘100 Years of Mateship’ - the remarkable bonds of mateship between Australia and the United States that unite our two nations.  The Australia Day Gala is an annual event presented by the Australian American Chamber of Commerce in partnership with G’day USA. This uniquely Australian event is attended by San Francisco’s leading business and tech executives and provides an opportunity for networking while enjoying the best of Australian entertainment, food and wine. In addition to representatives from the Australian community, this event consistently attracts C Suite executives, government officials, industry leaders as well as other significant groups and individuals in the Bay Area. In 2019, the Australia Day Gala will celebrate its 37th anniversary. To mark this occasion, the AACC will present the 3rd Annual “Innovation Awards”, rewarded to companies and an individual who have shown a commitment to Australian Innovation and business. These awards will be given alongside the prestigious “Ambassador Bill Lane Spirit of Australia Award”.
