The images of George Floyd’s murder will be forever etched in our minds. Those graphic depictions, and surrounding events, are a reminder that America’s promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is still beyond the reach of all but a few in the Black community.

At Valence, we are continuing to build upon the foundation that we laid when we launched our online platform last year. This summer, we are partnering with Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) to host the Boost Challenge Virtual Event Series, a set of gatherings that unite our community around elders and subject-matter experts with the goal of developing individualized plans of action toward socioeconomic progress.
