The Young Professionals Group of BABC Northern California is a group of young people who meet up regularly to network and socialize in San Francisco and Silicon Valley.

We welcome members and non-members to come along to this free event and you don't have to be British or American to attend!

Aside from our social meet-ups we also aim to hold a number of business-focused events several times a year. The official mission of the Young Professionals Group is to cultivate professional relationship building, entrepreneurial endeavors, and provide young business leaders with the opportunity to network for business and social purposes. Through building relationships with other young professionals we hope to inspire and assist all our members to further their careers and become leaders in their industries.

A new addition to our Happy Hour this month is a 15 performance from Keeva A Capella Group.

Jul 13 Movie Night on the Field at Oracle Park - Bohemian Rhapsody (Hosted by Corporate Member Giants Enterprises)



The San Francisco Giants are bringing the first ever non-game day public movie night to Oracle Park this summer! Please join us on Saturday, July 13
th as we show Bohemian Rhapsody (Sing-Along) on Oracle Park's brand new, 4K scoreboard (the largest video board in California - 45% larger than San Francisco's biggest movie theater). On the 34th anniversary of Queen's historic Live Aid performance, guests will get exclusive access to sit on the Field, enjoy a pre-show performance by The Killer Queens (the world's only, and San Francisco's own, all-female tribute to Queen), and sing along to Queen's hits while watching a special cut of the film Bohemian Rhapsody (2018, PG-13). Prizes will be handed out to select individuals wearing their best Freddie Mercury costumes. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to our partners at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. We look forward to seeing you at the ballpark!

Jul 19 Queen's Club BREXIT - EXIT Dinner (Hosted by Community Partner The Queen's Club)

The Queen's Club is a non profit military officers - both serving and retired - Dining Association which supports a British Charity The Not Forgotten Association. 

Dinners are held every quarter and are formal - black Tie with medals.

The Queen's Club is open to Military Commissioned Officers who have served in any branch of the armed forces of allied nations.

The Queen's Club  Midsummer dinner to be held on Friday July 19 will be informal. NOT BLACK TIE

Members of BABC are welcome to attend this informal event even if they have not served in the armed forces.

There will be 2 speakers at the dinner, Mr Peter Robinson, journalist, editor and writer will speak from the UK point of view, and Mr Jean-Jacques Vitrac, political advisor and entrepreneur will speak from the European point of view.

The Annual Christmas Luncheon is the BABC's flagship social event and a real highlight of the City's holiday scene.

Last year, attended by over 1000 members of the Bay Area business community, we celebrated the 55th Annual Christmas Lunch presented by CyraCom International, which was once again held at the spectacular Fairmont Hotel, atop Nob Hill. Tickets included complimentary champagne and wine at the Pre-Luncheon Play Rugby USA Champagne Reception and a sumptuous three course traditional British Christmas lunch with plenty of wine!
 

Guests also enjoyed some great entertainment from the Dicken's Christmas Fair Characters, live music from our friends at The Irish Pipers' Band of San Francisco, an incredible major Grand Raffle Prize Drawing and Live Auction. 

Because of the generosity of our Sponsors, Donors and guests, the Christmas Lunch raised  $17,000 for Raphael House, a non-profit charity that the BABC has supported for 12 years.

This year, we are pleased to announce that Play Rugby USA will be our primary beneficiary, receiving 100% of the funds raised from the last item on offer in the Live Auction.

One of the highlights of the Annual BABC Christmas Luncheon is our Grand Raffle Prize Drawing. We have a fabulous range of luxury trips and experiences to be won by lucky ticket holders on the day. Make sure to purchase your tickets on the day!
