The coming transformative technology of "Immersive technologies", the collective name for Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality, is the most important technology advance of the next decade. It's also the most over-hyped technology of the past five years. Both of these statements are true. Understanding why that is the case, and how and when it will impact your business, government regulation and society in general, is the single biggest challenge facing every single business.
The buzzworthy phrase "virtual reality" may have hit markets and mainstream culture at the beginning of this year, but we're only just beginning to understand how these technological advances will transform our everyday lives. In an increasingly digital world, the continuum of reality has blurred demarcations.
Look at how the Internet and the cell phone, the last two transformative technologies, have impacted everything that you do. Immersive will not however be adopted as quickly and as cleanly. Understanding this and why is crucial. What will Immersive mean to us as it starts to touch all aspects of our daily lives?
Join us for this highly interactive experience to learn more about how these mixed states impact the way we live, work and go about our daily lives. You'll hear from leading experts firsthand how Immersive technology is poised to change the way we interact with the world around us - personally and professionally. Some questions you'll leave with answers to: |
- What do "virtual reality", "augmented reality" and "mixed reality" truly mean and what is the difference?
- How will Immersive fundamentally change business and the way you work?
- How will Immersive be involved in how the built environment is created, developed and used in the future and, what are the unforeseen benefits ? and implications ? of using Immersive in building our environment?
- How are immersive technologies currently being used by the automotive, smart transportation and aerospace industries and how is this shaping future smart connected cities?
- How will Immersive change the way we process, absorb, and learn information?
- What effect will Immersive have in the Healthcare space in transforming patient-provider interaction, and ultimately in improving and/or saving lives?
- How will this technology benefit the Sports Industry to give sports teams and athletes the competitive edge?
- How can Immersive enhance the way we experience and ingest mainstream entertainment?
- How will Immersive impact other commercial spaces ? and why does it matter?
- Who are the players making Immersive a reality and how will it be sustained until Immersive is mainstream, affordable, and accessible?
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Professional individuals, corporations, associations, and investors interested in learning and understanding more about the impact of Immersive on everyday reality.
