May 24 Closing the Gender Pay Gap (hosted by Premier Member, Penningtons Manches) |
|
April 2018 marked a global first in the UK in the growing battle for pay equity. For the first time ever, all businesses with over 250 employees were required to formally report their gender pay gap statistics. As US employers consider auditing their pay practices and recruiting processes for compliance with California?s growing body of pay equity laws, there are lessons to be learned from the approach being taken in the UK.
We're delighted to host Bay Area technology executives and investors for an opportunity to gather, discuss tangible goals for the future, and leave with actionable strategies to address the persisting gender pay gap in their businesses and within their portfolio companies.
Chris Syder, Employment Partner at Penningtons Manches will lead a discussion on the current landscape for pay equity, demystify the new reporting initiatives in the UK, and consider best practices to take a proactive approach in addressing and remedying the gender pay gap.
We hope you can join us on May 24th at the DocuSign Executive Briefing Center for this lunch!
