Internationally, Tim advises companies on cross-border data transfer strategies to comply with laws that restrict such transfers, including EU laws.  Tim also helps coordinate privacy advice for multinational clients on a wide array of issues, including local data processing and cloud contracting arrangements, workplace monitoring, and new developments such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation.   
 
Tim also helps you be prepared when a data breach happens.  He has helped numerous companies with incident response preparedness plans and exercises, and is the right person to call if you have experienced a security incident, having counseled companies on hundreds of data breaches since the early implementations of data breach notification laws.

Dan is a former CIO, IT Director, Business Intelligence Manager, and Data Warehouse Architect with more than 25 years of technology experience in industries as diverse as education, hospitality, and oil & gas. His award-recognized technical leadership experience spans the organizational spectrum ? from governmental entities to multi-national conglomerates and entrepreneurial startups - with a common theme of data integration and business analytics. His focus is on strategic IT improvement ? maximizing desired business outcomes through the efficient, effective and pragmatic use of information technology. Dan leads the cyber security advisory services team at EKS&H, focusing on vulnerability assessments, compliance requirements, and organizational awareness. He has presented issues of data privacy and security to the National Conference of State Legislatures, the U.S. Department of Education, and various local organizations and committees. Dan is also the former chairman of the nationwide Education Information Management Advisory Consortium, and former chair of the Governor?s Data Advisory Board in Colorado. He lives in Denver with his wife and three teenage boys.

David was also a founder of Tirna Partners supporting innovative overseas companies to drive their North American market strategy, business development and funding activities.

From 2006 to July 2012 David was a SVP with Enterprise Ireland in Silicon Valley, where he supported over 120 Irish companies in their USA market activities leading to multi-million dollar sales, venture funding and IP licensing deals. David moved to Silicon Valley in 2006 after 16 years working in Ireland, with Enterprise Ireland and in a number of financial services organizations (Prudential, Scotttish Provident)
