Join Tech Bay Area Advocates for a full lunch as our esteemed panel of political leaders from Canada, Mexico and the UK discuss the implications of renegotiated and modernized trade agreements (including NAFTA) and the UK's departure from the EU (Brexit) will have on entrepreneurs.
As part of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) renegotiations, the Trump administration has pushed for an increase in the threshold value Canadians can buy online without paying import duties and taxes, potentially creating a massive opportunity for US entrepreneurs as Canadian consumers could save 25% for online purchases. Coupled with Canadian millennials purchasing online at a 2-4x rate of older generations, there could soon be a massive opportunity for US businesses.
Join us for a thought provoking discussion about the implications of a renegotiated trade agreement landscape on your business.
