The British Consulate General San Francisco requests the pleasure of your company for a celebration of culture, diversity and film.
The event will feature a fireside chat between Consul General Andrew Whittaker and Francis Lee, director of God's Own Country, a British film that will be screened at Frameline41, the San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival. There are six UK-based films in this year's festival, the largest number ever.
The UK is proud to be recognized as one of the most progressive countries in the world for LGBT rights and a welcoming country for all.
VisitBritain’s Love is GREAT campaign reinforces the fact that Britain is an all embracing choice for LGBT visitors. As part of the campaign, in 2017 the British Embassy and nationwide network of British Consulates and UK Government Offices will be participating in Pride in 13 cities across the US.
