Date: January 31, 2018 Time: 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Sorry, registration for this event is closed.
Event Description

The British-American Business Council Northern California cordially invites you to the 28th Annual BABC Economic Forecast Luncheon.

Once again, our panel of experts will engage in an interactive discussion and share their projections on how local and global economic patterns will affect your business in 2018. We'll be presenting economic forecasts for the Bay Area and the global economy and their likely impact on the US and regional economies as a whole.  We will also dig into the probable outcomes of the currently booming conditions here in the US and the Bay Area, including predictions on the markets and the environment for IPOs and M&A exits.
  • Will tax reform propel the stock markets to even higher records or are we in a bubble?
  • Will Brexit and the travails of the May government start to have a measurable impact?
  • What about the impact of deregulation and the volatile Trump administration?

You will no doubt have many other questions!

This year we are pleased to bring back Sean Randolph of the Bay Area Economic Institute and Hannah Kuchler of The Financial Times and to welcome Ninh Chung of SVB ASset Management.
