High School Boys Rugby Clinic

BABC Community Partner Member, Atlas Foundation Americas, is looking to raise $5,000 to pay for 75 teenage boys to participate in this full day event. Expenses include:  100 custom shirts for participants; 90 tickets to the evening match at Dignity Health; field hire; coaching fees; insurance; water and snacks for the clinic; BBQ for family and friends.

This is a Free Rugby Clinic for High School Boys from the most under-resourced areas of Los Angeles. In addition to providing professional coaching, the boys, aged 14-18 will receive a custom training shirt, a Q and A with professional rugby players, a free ticket to watch the USA Eagles Rugby Team play Canada at Dignity Health Stadium close by in Long Beach, CA and a BBQ with their families. The day is organized by Todd Clever, a former USA Eagles International with over 100 caps in 15-a-side and 7-a-side games for his country. Todd is dedicated to offering disadvantaged teens opportunities to grow and develop through rugby that are otherwise unavailable in their communities.

Atlas Foundation Americas looks to fund events like this that will help the youth of America to grow and learn how sport can lead to better physical and mental health, improve educational performance and build the bonds that serve all of America's communities.
