LIVE WEBINAR: A Return to the Skies with Simon Hawkins, Virgin Atlantic's Head of the USA

As the US opens its skies to international travelers, the BABC Northern California has teamed up with BABC Los Angeles to learn from Simon Hawkins, Head of Virgin Atlantic for the USA and Denise Sheldon, Commercial Director, West Region USA, how the airlines are ramping up their services once again, what has changed for international travel and what you can expect specifically for travel between the US and the United Kingdom. We will also be joined by Christina Turrini at Frosch Travel who will share what the corporate travel landscape looks like. LA President James Langridge will be joining us to moderate the session.

		Simon Hawkins Head of USA, Virgin Atlantic and Delta Simon has been based in the US since 2018. Under his expanded role, Simon Heads up the Virgin Atlantic US organization. He is also embedded into Delta Air Lines organization focused on delivering US-UK Commercial performance and delivering a seamless customer experience. Simon has worked across Commercial teams since joining Virgin Atlantic and previously headed up Sales Development in the UK. Simon was previously based in the US in 2013 where he led the implementation of the Sales Joint Venture with Delta Air Lines. Prior to joining Virgin Atlantic, Simon worked in a number of Actuary roles.

She has been a dedicated Travel Advisor for over 25 years and during the last 18 months co-hosted ( with Andrey Zakharenko) a weekly live Instagram Travel Tuesdays focused on answering questions and providing updates and inspiration during the time of Covid. Whether it is booking travel or planting the seeds to do, she will meet you where you are at in the planning process.

		James Langridge President, BABC Los Angeles In addition to the BABC LA, James is President of Royal Office Solutions, providing office copying and printing equipment, and document management software to companies in LA and Orange County. He has a proven track record of successful selling in the office technology market, in both hardware and software. A natural company and department leader, James has successfully assisted many organizations, and acts as a trusted advisor to his portfolio clients. A big believer in the Business part of the BABC, James will go to any lengths to connect new and existing members with others interested in expanding their business network connections. Highly motivated and driven, James has served on many committees and boards, but nothing excites him more than the BABC and being able to connect people to new business opportunities whilst having fun! Originally from Surrey, England, he lives in LA with his wife and two children.
