As the Director of Venture Investments for Bayer’s Leaps team, PJ drives the development and execution of a broad partnership strategy that accelerates Bayer’s innovation in the Food & Ag space. Coming from a scientific background and the frontlines of digital innovation, PJ and his colleagues have filtered through hundreds of companies with the potential to have a major impact on the future of agriculture and our food supply. Growth stage agnostic (Seed – Series C), the Leaps organization facilitates investments, partnerships, and collaborations between emerging companies and the broader Bayer enterprise. PJ joined Bayer Crop Science in 2011 and has held various leadership roles across the R&D and IT organizations; prior to which he was conducting research for the USDA. PJ has both a Bachelors degree in Biology and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Erin VanLanduit manages the Tyson Ventures $150 million fund, which partners with and invests in promising entrepreneurial businesses that align with Tyson Foods’ corporate strategy. Erin has 15 years of experience leading CPG businesses, serving in a variety of functions across Marketing/Brand Management, Global Innovation, Strategy, M&A Integration and Corporate Ventures. She is familiar with the challenges of building brands and operating in the evolving consumer products industry from her career spent at companies including Kraft Foods, McCain Foods and SC Johnson.
Will O'Donnell
Managing Partner, Prologis?
William O’Donnell leads Prologis Ventures, the venture capital, innovation and corporate development arm of Prologis. With over 22 years of experience in both real estate and technology, he heads efforts to invest in cutting-edge technology for supply-chain logistics and real estate.
O’Donnell joined legacy AMB in 2003 and established a successful track record of building and acquiring investment platforms and companies globally. He has led some of the company’s more complicated transactions, including the restructuring of six of Prologis’ private equity funds representing more than $4.5 billion in assets; privatization of G. Acción; establishment of two strategic capital vehicles; and AMB Property Corporation’s investments and ventures in India, China, Mexico, Singapore and Korea. O’Donnell brings private equity fund management expertise including capital raising, joint venture negotiation, asset management, work-outs, and debt structuring, as well as acquisition and development experience throughout Asia, Europe and North America.
Prior to joining AMB, O’Donnell was Director of Acquisition Solutions at Acxiom Impact, a leading digital marketing company, and a management consultant at Cambridge Technology Partners.
O’Donnell received his Bachelors of Arts in English and Spanish from Duke University.

Charlie joined Silicon Valley Bank at the launch of SVB’s London-based UK Branch in 2012, where he held roles growing both our venture-backed lending and early stage banking portfolios. In 2019 Charlie joined SVB’s Corporate Venture Relationships in San Francisco. Here his focus is on bringing the power of SVB’s knowledge and network to corporations, that seek deeper engagement with the innovation economy as investors, buyers and acquirers.
