New UK Centre for AI-Driven Innovation launched at World Economic Forum
Imperial signed an agreement with the World Economic Forum to establish the UK Centre for AI-Driven Innovation, part of a global network of WEF Centres for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR). The Centre is supported by the UK Department for Science, Information, and Technology. It's the first WEF Centre to be based in the UK. Its function is to advance responsible AI adoption across critical industries (advance manufacturing, life sciences, professional/financial services, etc.).More details in the

Imperial College London has announced its first physical presence in the US, with a new hub located in San Francisco. The new San Francisco hub will be launched in October to bring Imperial’s world leading science and tech research closer to the centre of global venture capital.
