The Saint Andrew's Society of San Francisco is excited to announce our next tasting event:

Whiskey carries with it a long and rich history; every expression both an individual and collective statement of the past and present. “Seven Seals is like the book with seven seals from the Bible, a great mystery. Only a small number of people know exactly how the process of finishing whisky takes place.” Seven Sails has developed a finishing process they call ‘Fast Forward Finishing.’ The result is an “aroma rich whisky in weeks instead of years.” Around two weeks, to be more precise. Dr. Stockhausen, the genius behind all of this, surely seems to have cracked the code.

• The Sherry Wood Finish impresses with intense aromas, fruitiness and sweetness.
• The Port Wood Finish shows the difference between sherry and port and proves that a subtle addition of peat smoke can also appeal to single malt lovers who otherwise do not like peat smoke.
• The Peated Port Wood Finish perfectly balances aroma, fruit and peat smoke.
• The Amarone Wood Finish offers a combination of sweet apple, berries, vanilla and cinnamon, complemented by toffee, orange zest, caramel, mocha, wild berries and ginger cookies.
